Welcome to the Buddha Bears Studio
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, our peaceful studio is based in Clitheroe, just outside the castle grounds and a little haven where you can slow down and simply enjoy the little moments together.
A space designed to feel like home
From the moment you step through the door, you'll notice that Buddha Bears is different. Thoughtfully designed with natural tones, calming textures and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, our studio has been created to help both children and adults feel safe, relaxed and at home. Every detail has been carefully considered to encourage connection, curiosity and calm.
Our main room is calm and cosy — no windows, no harsh overhead glare, just soft, gentle lighting and sensory-rich elements like our beautiful bubble tube lamp that create a soothing, immersive atmosphere. Unlike busy, brightly coloured play spaces that can sometimes feel overwhelming, our studio offers a gentle environment where little ones can explore at their own pace, build confidence and engage in meaningful play — while grown-ups have the chance to pause, unwind and make lasting memories with their children.
Open-ended play, beautifully curated
Our studio is home to a thoughtfully curated collection of beautiful, high-quality toys and resources, carefully chosen to support every stage of your child's development. Rather than noisy, battery-operated toys, we've embraced open-ended play with timeless wooden toys, natural materials and invitations to explore, create and imagine. Each area has been designed with age-appropriate resources that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, creativity and independent discovery — allowing little ones to learn through play in a calm, inspiring environment.
Wait until you see the magic
Just wait until you see the magic when the lights go out and our studio glows, with our neon accessories sparking awe and wonder across your little one's face.
Everyone is welcomed just as they are
Whether you're joining us for baby massage, sensory experiences, yoga, mindfulness, family classes or wellbeing sessions, you'll find a space where there's no pressure, no expectations — just warmth, kindness and a community that celebrates every family's unique journey.
And because we know the little moments matter just as much as the classes themselves, every visit is made even sweeter with a selection of delicious homemade bakes, freshly prepared with love. Enjoy a slice of cake and a comforting brew while little ones play, chat with other families, or simply take a well-deserved moment for yourself. We believe parents deserve nurturing too.

Why I created this space
I created this little haven because it's something that Clitheroe was lacking — a space to connect with others, where your little ones can have fun in a calm, clean and homely environment. I want you to feel less like "come to a class" and more like "come and spend time somewhere you'll love." That's exactly the feeling you'll get at Buddha Bears. We can't wait to welcome you into our little corner of the Ribble Valley.
